Compared to our cable rewinding systems, even those with small drums, single-layer cable routing, our rotary contact systems are real tiny tots that secure the power supply of rotating and rotating receivers. Especially in revolving doors or rotating exhibition showcases, they enable trouble-free everyday use.

In practice, our customers and their applications have proven their use in reels, which are used in safety areas and thus protect trucks that transport dust (flour, concrete, etc.) and are called silo trucks. Here, there can even be a risk of explosion during loading and unloading. Therefore, our encapsulated rotary contact system within the reel drum ensures safety.

Furthermore, the rotary contact systems were used in welding machines at the time to prevent twisting of the power cable during use. Hair dryer manufacturers avoid the same effect (twisting of the cable) by using our swivel joints in their products.

Other application variants are e.g. revolving doors or rotating presentation displays, e.g. at jewellers and in glass cabinets.

The matching rotary contact systems are available as 2-, 3- and also 4-pole rotary unions. The 4-pole types are a 3-pole rotary contact systems with a double protective conductor.
