ATHOS delivers the 1 millionth hose reel!

In 2013, ATHOS started the development and production of the new wall hose box for our customer Gardena. Since that time, the product has become increasingly popular with end customers. The wall hose boxes produced in Slovenia can now be found in gardens worldwide. Even in Australia and Canada, gardeners count on our hose reels. This success has surprised all of us!

Already on March 6, 2018 ATHOS was able to deliver the first millionth hose reel. Reason enough for the 95 employees in the hose drum production (photo) to celebrate.

The demand is fortunately continuing, so that we have doubled our production capacity and now produce and deliver 2,500 reels with 95 employees every day. In parallel, another 83 employees produce built-in cable rewinders on other manufacturing lines.

Apart from Germany and Slovenia, ATHOS is also active in Turkey and in China with meanwhile more than 300 employees.
