ATHOS Slovenia is sponsoring the Volleyballclub from Kostanjevica na Krki

ATHOS Elektrosistemi d.o.o. and the Volleyball Club Kostanjevica na Krki, which will be named in the following season (from this autumn onwards) VOLLEYBALL CLUB ATHOS KOSTANJEVICA NA KRKI, has started a cooperation

The Kostanjevica na Krki Volleyball Club was founded in August 2006. In the season of 2006–07, they competed in the National League for the first time with the older boys’ team and toddlers team. The main goal when the volleyball club was founded was to offer children additional training in a particular sport in the then new municipality Kostanjevica na Krki. Over the years volleyball became a common denominator for various organizations and individuals, while the Kostanjevica na Krki volleyball club received new dimensions. 
 
And one of the defining moments in the club's 16-year history took place in 2022, when the team was ranked in the 1st. B National Volleyball League - this is the second highest league in Slovenia, and the team is among the 16 best teams. The success of a generation of local boys breathing as one was more than deserved. We have also recognized hard work and respect in our company, which pursues the same values, so we decided to support a successful story.

As the general sponsor, we will further support socially responsible organizations that work on a voluntary basis to create a better tomorrow for our children. Volleyball in Kostanjevica na Krki lives and writes a special story. This is also proved by the full stands at home matches and the roaring support of the locals, who give the Kostanjevica volleyball players extra strength.

We are proud and pleased that the volleyball club will be able to expand its sports activities with our help, as there is still a lot of room for further development of volleyball in Kostanjevica na Krki. With the support of ATHOS Elektrosistemi d.o.o. the number of trainees will increase even more, while also improving the conditions of the training process from the youngest onwards.          
  
As our company and the volleyball club begin their story together, the competition goals are also rising. In the coming years we will also focus on beach volleyball, where we want to light up the courts along the Krka River and organize national competitions for juniors and members.

Together, we will also try to bring volleyball closer to all those who wish to engage in this team sport purely recreationally.
